I was at Borders today and saw her book on display. Of course I already bought it and read it, but I just had to buy another one. I might need a gift soon. I couldn't walk by that book and not buy it again, lol. I loved it that much!

Not only was she in the crowd, she made a guest appearance on stage as seen below. As I recall (due to some kind of business/contractual conflict she was not able to actualy speak other then to state her personal support to FR and its activities. She also hung out at the after freep party. She is a gracious lady and spoke to all that approached her.

I think Milt Rosenberg did a fairer job giving Ann a hearing than anybody else would, even Brian Lamb. Two hours uninterrupted.

Ron Smith (WBAL Baltimore)gave Ann a good hearing a couple of weeks ago, however, Ann's voice was really giving out. Ron is prone to interrupt but it was always in support of Ann. His "rant" naming all of the conservative books that Ann identified as being described by liberals as "surprise bestsellers" was great.

I look forward to her interview with Brian Lamb next Sunday (8/11) on C-SPAN. Assuming that it will be Brian. Sometimes other interviewers do the BookNotes. Brian is very fair with authors on BookNotes, always attempting to bring out the salient points of a book.

Now if it's red-head Connie Brod, watch out. She is the one C-SPAN host who just cannot hide her DemocRAT leanings.

On page 23 of her book, Slander, Ann uses the Freeper expression IMPOTUS. I have seen it in print nowhere else except in Ann's book and here on the FreeRepublic. I had to smile and say to myself when I saw it... She is one of us!
