Being from NJ and living in San Diego, CA, I make 4 to 6 cross country flights a year minimum. At 6', 210 lbs I always ask for an emergency row(more leg room). I usually get an aisle seat and leave the other arm rest to the middle person. Personally being in the back near the stinking bathrooms or next to screaming babies are much higher on my air rage meter.

if your 200 lbs or more & the damn seat's to small. Not always true. I'm 6' tall, 215lbs., and I've never had a problem fitting comfortably into an aircraft seat. That includes everything from 2-seat Cessnas to regional commuter craft to A320s, DC-9s, DC-10s, 727s, and 757s.

Correct but that is what makes the airlines profitable and air fares within the budget of the Average person not just businessmen
Larger seats higher prices less customers etc etc
