September 11 happened. We still have markers to settle. Lots of them.
We're all changed, different than we were, but that's reality. I watched that thing on CNN live. We all did. I'm going to boycott the escalation of overwrought, escalating earnestnessocityaciouness!!!! I don't think the anniversary will be a bad thing overall, because it's good for our neighbors busy drivng their kids from one activity to another every day, all weekend, all year, forever, to understand that our freedoms, civilization and lives are under attack going forward and life is fragile and wonderful. Every Freeper knows that, but many of our community are lost in that "Star Search" show. They need a reality check.
SirGawain, I don't wan't to disparage any feeling here, but I think we around this joint keep the deal real.
The ironic thing is ... the Bush Administration may have thwarted UNTOLD lethal attacks and schemes ... and we'd never know. It's like the Offensive Tackle ... he's a dominant all pro 15 games a year but his name is only called when he's flagged for holding. "God, he sucks" LOL
We're doing fine. God blessed our lives ridiculously to be Americans in this time.
This could explain why I may have taped a few documentaries of the coverage during the last ten months but haven't looked at any of them.
September 11 happened. We still have markers to settle. Lots of them.
And payback should be a bitch. That is, provided we stop being so sensitive about hurting the feelings of the oppressed Islamic peoples of the western world and start killing the ones who need killing.
Excellent analogy!
