Wonder why they don't think the actual vote count was newsworthy?

From another source: The bill, which passed 64-34 on largely partisan lines as the Senate was preparing to leave for a month-long summer recess, now goes to Bush for signature.

At least More than 25% of the Dem Senators voted for this, yet it was on "largely partisan" lines. What a bunch of jerks... (the Media)

The bill, which passed 64-34 on largely partisan lines

When Republicans held the Senate, even one voting Dem made legislation "bipartisan".

Lets see its gets 80-90% of Republicans and 25% of Democrats and you fault the media for saying it was largely on partisan lines. Duh? What am I missing? Passing on non-partisan lines would mean that 2/3 of both Republicans and Democrats voted for it. Geez, some people need to stay on their tranquilizers.
