KS/MO FREEPER ALERT:`America's Most Wanted' coming to Leawood [Kansas]

John Walsh will tape "America's Most Wanted" Tuesday morning from the Leawood swimming pool where Ali Kemp was murdered.

The show, to air at 8 p.m. Saturday on Fox, will ask viewers to help solve the cases of Kemp, Precious Doe and women whose bodies were found in the Missouri River.

They also will feature the case of Tabitha Brewer, a 16-year-old girl who disappeared from Shawnee with her boyfriend in 1998. Her boyfriend, Nick Travis, was found dead four months later in a Kansas City neighborhood, and Tabitha's purse was found there.

The show will be taped at 8:30 a.m. at the Foxborough neighborhood pool at 123rd Street and State Line Road, then will move to other spots around the metro area.

Thanks for the ping. BTW, what happened to the 15 YO girl who was the subject of the Amber Alert last night? She was abducted by three blacks across from KU Med Center and dumped into the trunk. The alert was in place when I went to bed last night, but I haven't heard anything about it this morning.

She was found. May not have been a kidnapping at all. Was at some guys apartment and contacted police when she heard about the Amber Alert. Confusing story and haven't heard anything more this morning.

Thanks for the update. So it was another false alarm. This isn't going to help the credibility of the Amber Alert system. I'll wait to see what the details are on this one, however the last one where the girl was found asleep in a closet in the home made the KCMO police look like idiots. BTW, did you see all the tattoos and piercings on the parents in that case? Must have spent a fortune on body "decorations".

I have a friend who works at the WYCO jail and the rumor going around last night was that the guys were some sort of relatives.

Regards the little girl who was asleep in the closet, is it my imagination or what, but it seems like many of these little kids who get grabbed have parents that seem to be a bit different. Just wondering? Glad to see your back TS amd hope your feeling better and good thoughts for Charlie as well barker.
