The African citizens were indeed learning modern methods of farming from the White farmers, and some had their own farms. Those farms were seized as well, and blacks who worked for the White farmers were terrorized as well as the White farm families

The blacks who are now destroying the seized farms are thugs in Mugabe's army. They were never farmers, had no interest in farming, only killing and looting.

These are very different people from the average black Zimbabwean .
