The news last night said the wind will be picking up today.
They also had a piece on how the fires are named. They name the fire after the place where the fire started. It's been confusing...Florence is on the coast about 125 miles from where the Florence fire is located.
Just a bit of trivia to get your morning started. ;o)

I think that they named this fire the Florence Fire to miss lead people.

The card carrying green freaks in the Floristry Service did not want to say that the Kalmiopsis Wilderness Area was burning. It was/is burning because of the ONRC/Andy Kerr green thugs's agenda in this area.

That agenda was no logging, close the roads in the area, no brush removal. If the Floristry Service did any work in this area, they had to pack in their hand tools (no chain saws) on their backs or on pack animals.

You can imagine what would happen in area that gets 50 to 100 inches of rain each rainy season and has warm summers to make trees and brush grow.

There has been massive growth of trees, massive dead trees, dead brush, no roads, and live brush that keeps even big Elk out of some areas this past decade.

Now, 17,000 innocent Oregonians are paying for the green eco terrorism agenda of Kerr/the ONRC/?.

So they picked the name Florence Fire to miss lead people.
