As we endeavor toward a more lucid and informed discussion of substance abuse, let's deconstruct the mystique of marijuana and recognize it for the dangerous drug that it is.
Marijuana is a substance that's worthy of our concern. It is the most prevalent of all illicit drugs used in the country. The 2000 National Household Survey on Drug Abuse reported that 34 percent of Americans have used marijuana in their lifetime and 5 percent are current users.

My turn now.
Point out the relevant words or section of the Constitution where you personally think it delegates to the Federal government the power to conduct a domestic WOD.
I'm looking forward to another quiz, after you've given your answer to this question.
Again, how would you know?
Happened to my brother for one
Utterly horrendous logic, a plant is natural, rape is not natural and requires the utmost use of force
Your answer, while colorful, did not demonstrate where you thought the Constitution delegated this power.
A FRer after my heart. I agree 100%.
"We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry, would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other."
John Adams, 11 October 1798
If it would fly in court, they would try it, believe you me.
Murder, rape, armed robbery, burglary, assault and battery or consuming a plant that grew in my yard?
Tick-toc, tick-toc, tick-toc, tick-toc.
It looks like you skipped the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution when you were busy studying in tyrannt school.
The Scientologists are authoritarian, manipulative, and very much of an end-justifies-the-means mindset when dealing with anyone who disagrees with them. What's not to like?
You didn't say what plant that was.
It's only a trick question for tyrannts. For those who advance liberty the answer is obvious. I notice you didn't even attepmt to equate my consumption of a plant from my yard, ANY PLANT, NO RESTRICTIONS, to my committing murder, rape, or armed robbery. Still like to hear your logic.
Which one of these is not like the other? Not like the other? Not like the other?
Carrie Nation, Harry Anslinger, 4Freedom, Thomas Jefferson?
Tyrannts gotta love a guy like you. Clueless about liberty, you cheerfully clasp the irons on yourself and everyone else. You and your cohorts in tyranny are responsible for more misery than all the drugs ever consumed combined.
You don't even take Sundays off from raving like a lunatic.
You rave like a lunatic 24/7. Now, that's dedication.
At least you're consistently maniacal. Try not to swallow your own tongue when you're having one of those fits.
LOL!
I hate to break it to you, but jail space isn't free and unlimited. It doesn't grow on trees. It actually costs money to build, staff, and maintain! An amazing concept, but true....much like rationing, priorities have to be made. Do you let out the burgler to put a pothead in? Do you let out a rapist to put a coke dealer in?
Sorry, nevermind, that would be expecting another pro-doper to be fair.
I'm better off now that I no longer smoke dope. But only just a bit. I think Freud cautioned that "Even the best of therapy will only return a person to an ordinary level of unhappiness." So giving up ones's crutches and "facing life" does not lead to Shangri-La. On the contrary, it introduces one to the harsh world they were (somewhat) successfully avoiding.
In my case I don't believe 5 years in the hoosegow would have been better for me. But that's hindsight, and self-serving of me to say so isn't it? I did break the law, so technically I deserved it.
I think you may be whipping yourself a little too long and a little too harshly over this. You tried something, you concluded it wasn't a good idea, you stopped. That makes you pretty much the same as the rest of us.
