Do they require a SS number in your area? In Western New York, no SS number no dish. I thought requiring SS numbers was not allowed.

Dittos for DirecTV. All cable companies has something that we customers don't like, but I believe DirecTV out paces all others with the options and sports packages.

I hear ya. I was spending $70 with RCN for a 'superb'fuzzy cable picture with few of the channels I really wanted. Number one son works at Circuit City running AUDIO - VIDEO department shames me into HD setup with Direct TV for a few dollars more. WOW. You couldn't pry that remote from my dead cold hands! Digital rules!

I only have one question about Directv.
I wonder why CNN is at 202 with ESPN and all the other news channels are in the 360's?

Could it be they waant more people to watch CNN?
