How about the fact that a minority of priests in the Catholic Church (homosexuals) have brought about 95% of the molestation cases in the Church's sexual scandal, virtually all against teenage boys? The numbers speak for themselves.
Actually, thought the Boy Scouts have been through hell, it's an organization that's emerging stronger, freer, with more support from private donors and organizations. Boy Scouts is growing dramatically in our area. It's one place where teenage boys are relatively safe from homosexual indoctrination, men who model homosexual behavior, and from homosexual molestation.
Right. They want you to send your son out with a flaming gay, and for you not to even know. Parents will quietly abandon this program if they persist.
That's good, if true. But the Catholic mess makes it clear that a sizeable percentage of homosexual men have a strong sexual attraction to teenage boys.
As is confirmed by the Catholic homosexual priest / teenage boy rape scandal.
Exactly. The BBBSA can ignore the harm done to The Church when it was targeted and infiltrated by homosexuals at its own peril but is it ready to do so at the peril of the children entrusted to it?

By the same logic, heterosexual men, making up a minority of the population and accounting for a large majority of sexual offenses against women, should be excluded as leaders in the Girls' Clubs. You agree with excluding heterosexual men as Girls' Club leaders, don't you?
It's not just the parents of kids who will abandon the program. I was just talking a couple of days ago with my wife about a statistic I'd heard or read, that 25% of American kids don't have a dad in the home. We were talking about how good it might be for me to mentor some dadless boy, and that brought to mind this program. But if they're going to have gays participate, I don't think I'll be taking part.
An amazing, not to mention depressing, factoid.
We may wish to keep in mind BBBSA's corporate sponsors:

Well, I will be please to answer that. I can certainly tell you that in an organization like the Boy Scouts, where kids go out camping on overnight trips with male leaders in the absence of parents, it would be CRAZY to have homosexual leaders. In the same way, the vast, vast majority of parents would not send out their teenage daughters with heterosexual men on overnight camping trips (maybe you would - the vast majority would not). In Big Brothers / Big Sisters, you have adults with sole access and supervision over these kids, in the absence of parents or other adults. A Big Brother can say anthing to his charge, model any behavior to his charge, or even try bad stuff, if he wants. BBBS is really stupid to allow this, as it will certainly lead to some homosexual molestations. The Boy Scouts suffered from a rash of homosxual molestations until it cracked down and established a kids' first policy protecting them from homosexual molestation. In the Catholic Church, we now have literally thousands of homosexual molestations against teenage boys (homosexual priests allowed one-on-one unsupervised supervision of teenage boys). Now, on the question of role models. I can certainly tell you, the vast, vast majority of parents don't want their sons going around town with a guy who says things like: "Wow, I like the way that guy's butt looks!" or "Gee, I'd love to go out with that man. He's so cute." Maybe you want that for your son. Most people don't. (And they're right to not want that!) Would you want your son going to the beach with a BBBS homosexual guy and changing in the bathhouse together? I sure wouldn't. (And I wouldn't allow my teenage daughter to put on her bathing suit in the presence of a heterosexual guy. Would you?) And finally, on your point, I don't know exactly what you mean by Girls' Clubs. I really don't think it's wise to have girls wholly supervised by a couple of heterosexual guys. I would really have to know the exact circumstances to know what I would think and allow for my daughter. But I think your problem is that you've lost your ability of discernment. These situations are not all the same. Big Brothers is talking about sole access of a homosexual man with a boy in the absence of any supervision. It's bad news. Boy Scouts puts kids and parents first. BBBS does not.
