Still got pleanty left....As of last night I had 42 paid sticker orders. And so far I've gotten 95 "I intend to order" E-Mails. That'll leave 155 stickers (if everyone follows thru) without a home! All you Oregonians need to let the green plauge know who is to blame!!

I just reliazed my niece and her husband just moved to Maupin Ore from Gresham. He retired from Fred Meyer after 30 years and they run two rafting companies on the Deshutes. I have not had a reply to my email to them so I don't know what their statis is at this time.

But the greens have succeeded. They want humans out of the Rocky Mountains (except when they go hiking with their little bear bells jingling) and are willing to burn us out to achieve that goal.

My family owns property in the rockies. We weren't hit by fire. But when we get our next insurance bill (or worse, when the insurance companies refuse insurance), the true cost of green "stewardship" of our wilds will become apparent. There will be a long term move out of the mountains because of cost and unavailablity of insurance--exactly what the greens wanted.

I tell you, behind closed doors, they are celebrating. All they have to do is hunker down and weather the political storm (which the media will let them do) and they have already achieved one of their dearly held long-term goals. Humans out of the Rockies.

I've got a buddy who just went down there to help his parents cut a firebreak around the house. Here's to hoping they don't have to evacuate.

The storm will only increase in severity and density (lead weighs more than mud BTW). They haven't won, they've just been winning for a while.

I think that is we FReepers can curb our language, and use logic rather than threats of violence, we oughtta speak out to the perpetrators of crime against our environment. Make no mistake, this isn't just a crime against homes. Water quality is going to suffer, and SOIL EROSION...I don't even want to think of that just yet.

Apparently some insurance companies in fire hit and potential fire areas are refusing to issue new policies to home owners in Colorado.

Like you, I feel that the rural cleansing by fire Green Jihadists are celebrating behind closed doors when all of this happens.
