I think Mr. Harris destroyed her life and killed her soul and he was just planning to walk away. I think HE is the one most responsible for his own death. He must have known that she was emotionally distraught and had a tendency toward a bad temper. He wasn't a very smart man but is now out of the gene pool. I doubt that any other man will ever marry Clara or Ms. Bridges now. I used to live in LJ but I live in LA now. I thought LA was the weird one till this murder happened.
