IF there was anyone at Ms. Bridges' house it was probably a reporter trying to get a story first.

I would say that Mrs. Harris seems to be the only sane person in this entire affair.

Didn't think that this story could get any weirder, but boy was this a Payton Place of the dental profession.
Sounds like the David Harris was consoling an employee going through some rough times (much of it self-inflicted it seems) and his rabidly jealous wife went postal assuming the worst (helped by an unprofessional private investigator speculating on what might be going on.) It may have been that David Harris and "the other woman" were merely having drinks after work at the Hilton's bar, a somewhat upclass and quiet place to talk.
If the P.I. had hotel registration receipts or illicit photos of "the affair", then that changes the situation. But if "the affair" existed merely in the jealous mind of Mrs. Harris, then I say throw the book at her.
