PARIS -- French Foreign Minister Dominique de Villepin met Iranian Ambassador to France, Alireza Moayeri, on Friday and maintained the need to continue exchange of delegations between Paris and Tehran.
Villepin, expressing satisfaction with the upward trend of Paris-Tehran ties, said he hoped he would be able to travel to Iran in the near future, IRNA reported.
"Paris, a major member of the European Union, is seriously pursuing enhancement of cooperation between the union and Iran," he said.
Moayeri, in response, said that Iran welcomes further exchanges of delegations between the two countries, particularly consultations between their foreign ministers.
The Iranian envoy described France's stances on regional and international issues as "logical and moderate," and called for Paris' active role in resolving the Middle East crisis.

When we attack Iran to clear out the terrorist-supporting mullahs, France wants to be allied with Iran so they can get in on the surrender.

Good timing. Iran on the virge of either revolution or destruction at our hands....which ever comes first. Is it too late to add France to the axis of evil?

Don't you remember that Ayatollah Khomeni hung out in Paris while plotting to overthrow the Shah?
Why should you expect anything less now?

No, they eat snails and frog-behinds. Enough reason for me to rush them on that list.
