This is excellent suggestion by you, re who to inspect the homes and buildings in the rural areas for insurance write ups:
Retired firefighters are perfect for the job!
They would be great. They could be independent contractors and paid by the job. Being retired independent contractors, they should have no axes to grind.

I hadn't heard of that Chamber statement. The Shakespearean Festival is in full swing, so I'm sure they don't want the tourists knowing what the air is really like. It's always about money, isn't it?

Nic can you find us any info on the insurance companies in Colorado not issuing insurance policies to those in and around forests? Sorry for the delay in responding, GD.....I just moved to central New York this past week and haven't had internet service until yesterday. As far as ins. companies.....I don't know . . . since I don't work in the insurance business.....sorry about that. Have a good one and hope someone can answer your question. FReegards, nic.
