It's the wonderful power of man's will, the rescue workers, and great luck that you should be thanking.

I bet the miners that were rescued would beg to differ with you. I know the mine superintendent would.

If prayer to God is the reason for survival in extraordinary circumstances then failure to save others in dire need is unanswerd prayers. God deems some prayers worth answering?

Without the men and their machines who rescued them prayers aren't worth a damn. This is all the same stupid thinking that I see when one boxer beats another and he thanks God or Allah.
