Jolly, where would Ricci have taken his Jeep with the machetti and post hole digger that he would have known he was going to get into a lot of white mud and would need newspaper to put on the floor to keep it clean from the mud. Could this be some kind of a swampy area?

There is lots of white mud in the Green River/Rock Springs WY area which is about 200 miles East of Salt Lake. I think there is also some south and west of Salt Lake within the same range. As for the newspaper business, my instincts are that it is particularly significant and not to keep the jeep clean per se, but to capture any forensic evidence from a victim.
