Funny story! But this happened to me (with an electric toothbrush, not a vibrator, thank you very much!). The doggone toothbruch was in my bag in the overhead bin and apparently got jostled and turned on just before take-off. I had put in earplugs so I could sleep on the flight, so I had no Earthly idea why two flight attendants were standing by my seat, jabbering away and pointing at the bin! It was pretty funny- but this happened a year before 9/11, and I doubt that it would be so funny now...
