We don't know if it's a tragedy, but we do know that the first few hours are critical and that if anyone in the area see's anything, it could make a difference.
Point conceded. However: Hate to sound cynical, but I'll believe that the reason for reporting and posting on missing children is to help in their recovery when I see an ongoing thread with the same emotional frenzy as this one for every suspected child abduction - not just for those who get their pictures on TV.
Having said that, I hope and pray that they find the child and I'm glad Freepers care enough to want to help. What a network we can provide! Obviously not all of us are as hardened as I am. Thank God.
