I knew you knew - just spelling out the answer to your rhetorical question for any FR newbs who hadn't figured it out yet. Plus it's a small rant that makes me feel infinitesimaly better about the situation. :-\

And the Times is a known purveyor of disinformation and propaganda. Boortz was ranting yesterday about a Times article that slammed the US military for being cavalier about killing noncombatants in Afghanistan. Their source for their main "evidence": Quotes from some U.S. civilian on the ground in Afghanistan. A little digging revealed she is a known antiwar "activist", who doesn't believe the US should be in Afghanistan at all. And she is all of 23 years old, so of course she has infinite wisdom and is totally credible. Naturally, the NYT didn't reveal any details about their highly credible source.

LOL! I know how you feel. Someone at work recently, when I brought up Waco, said it was ancient history -- they got an earful.
