We moved from CA a 1 1/2 ago and I miss farmers market. Avacados, artichokes, yummy fruits ... all of it. It's just not as good here in FL..


Also, I miss, In-N-Out, (animal cheese), Jumbo Jacks and Super Tacos,
great mexican food, great chinese food, and Raleys, my fav. supermarket when I lived in No.CAl. SIGH!!


They have good Barbeque here but cannot make a decent hamburger!! again SIGH!

My family is from Ventura originally ... coming directly from Hanover Germany in the 1870's. I have a lot of geneological work done by the nuns in my family.

I'll give you everything on "better in Florida" but not a California Haas avocado. Ambrosia. I have no problem with eating just one for dinner or an avocado sandwich.

I live in AZ and rumor has it that In-N-Out is coming our way and those in the know say it is really good. Since you say you miss it, that would verify! Looking forward to it.....

I used to live in So. California... I miss In n Out also! But I REALLY miss Carls Jr. I would give anything for a Western Bacon Cheeseburger. Also loved The Mad Greek resteraunts. When I was pregnant both times, I just about went crazy craving all of the food I used to eat in California!

mmm now I'm hungry!
