SHe was in Mervyns Department store and left Danielle in the dressing room while she left the store and went into the mall to a Toy Store (at this point I am unclear as to whether the boys were already in the toy store alone, or whether she had the boys with her in Mervyn's and left with them, taking them to the Toy Store, and leaving Danielle alone.
