Did you see the post I was replying to? Henrietta thought the presumptive test on the Danielle spot did not test positive. We were not discussing the false positive angle, though, since you mention it, other substances like rust would not yield DNA.

I believe the test they used test positive to potatoes and other items, and if the reagent is old, tests positive to anything. While rust or potatoes may not contain dna, a stain containing saliva and potatoes might IMO. Since Feldman did not attack the pros. findings, It seems moot and I will have to go with the evidence presented.
