Well, the Dems have been trying to pin this on Bush, but those annoying facts show these problems started well back into the Clinton Administration. So the Dems will execute a strategic retreat (or, in lay terms, come up with a new pack of lies), and trot out Slick to say he really wanted to reform corporate America, but those horrible Newt Gingrich Contract With American totin' Republicans caved into their corporate owners and block the reforms. Unfortunately for the Dems, a week or so of exposure to facts will demonstrate to the American public that, between Robert Rubin's antics and Joseph Lieberman's blocking of stock options reforms and Clinton's ties to Silicoln Valley, Clinton's claims are as worthless as his denials that he never had sex with that thar woman, Mizz Lewinksky.
Now exactly where the Democrats will retreat from here is beyond me. But I'm sure, given their demonstrated ability to erect a battlement from nothing more than copies of the Washington Post coated with bullsh**, they'll come up with something.
