Mary Katherine has been the most closely guarded asset in this whole investigation. Media has been allowed NO access to her, other than a single photograph of her and Elizabeth together. Reports are that police interviewers have only had access to her while in the presence of her mother. Now that Boylan has finally been allowed access, we find that the strict rules of secrecy continue. Whatever Mary Katherine brings to this investigation must be EXTREMELY SENSITIVE information......but sensitive for WHOM???

It would be pretty unusual for media to be allowed access to a 9 year old who is the sole eyewitness to a serious crime. I think you're reading too much into this. MAYBE she has some very sensitive information, but almost certainly there is concern over having her memories unnecessarily tainted, and over minimizing disruptions in her life which hinder her recovery from the trauma of losing her beloved older sister this way. If she was MY daughter, you can be sure the media would have no access to her. And besides, the police are having enough trouble controlling the parents' media appearances -- just imagine trying to control a 9 year old, who would have a lot of trouble remembering which things she is allowed to talk about and which must remain secret to protect the investigation.

Whatever Mary Katherine brings to this investigation must be EXTREMELY SENSITIVE information......but sensitive for WHOM???Exactly! If the alleged kidnapper or runaway accomplice is known to the family, they may have wanted to wait until he and Elizabeth decided to come back on their own. Since that isn't (apparently) happening, maybe they've decided to go ahead with a sketch and reveal the identity of the alleged abductor.
