I am not AT ALL troubled by anything Ashcroft has done thus far. I know people who have known him personally for many years, and am very confident we have a great man on the job. May God help him ignore this media drivel.

So do the people that know him say that he's really a good guy, and really a Christian, and really an honest and trustworthy individual? This is where the conspiracy theories seem to falter: they require the Ashcrofts and Bushes of the world to be profoundly evil, but the people who know them don't find this to be the case.

AMEN, Ted. I feel the same way. You can't trust anything the media has to stay about Bush, Ashcroft or anyone else for that matter. I'll keep my money on Ashcroft.
