Ashcroft has disappointed me immensely, and I was such a staunch supporter of his early on. Fred, that's just laughable on its face. Anybody can say anything on the Internet, so I'd expect you to say that your opposition to Bush and his administration is a fairly recent thing.
That's bullshit, and you know it.
I said what I think, and that's the truth. I haven't bashed Ashcroft, but he has been a major disappointment.
I had such high hopes early on too.
