Looks like Jiang is going to keep the military position.
It really would not surprise me at all. Pretty soon, the military will become the Party.
There is a strong risk of fracturing the Party into many fragments, and they all know it.
The 'civilian' leadership in the Party are a threat to the old way, just by their existence.
Pretty soon, they will all be called 'dissidents', just like Taiwan, or Falun Gong.
