Sounds good to me. If someone's such a POS as to endanger me and others by driving drunk, this is the least that should be done to them. Make up your mind what you want to do, newbie...keep your property, your drivers' license and your freedom, or have that one for the road. Grow up.

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!

I hate to point this out to you and the rest of the liberals on this thread but the law in fact states NOTHING about having your license suspended for a DUI. It ONLY states that your license is SUSPENDED. In case you live in a closet with the rest of the others I'll inform you that you can have your license suspended for numerous reasons. The most common... speeding. Now are you and the rest of your friends going to claim that you never speed? Or perhaps you were caught speeding once and are now reformed??? How any of you can stand for any form of government confiscation of private property is beyond me. It only serves to confirm that this board has more than its share of socialist infiltrators. You want the government to steal private property, sell it and use the money for the city, state or whatever??? Sounds pretty socialist to me.

Did you and your chronies ever think that maybe... just maybe if someone is really a danger that they should be locked up? Apparently they must not be a danger if the law sees them fit to remain free. This is a scam plain and simple and you bleeding hearts are all over it. Either you're liberals or maybe that new breed of compassionate moderates... Oh the humanity! We must protect the children! Give me a break!

Pleas estop this crap about you being in danger, you ar ein no more danger than I am when your wife drives while applying her makeup or you drive while talking on your cell phone. Think we should confiscate vehicles in those cases as well? Wake up!

I'll reiterate the first part for you since I'm sure you missed it: The law states that your vehicle can be confiscated if you drive while your license is suspended. It says NOTHING about having a prior DUI. Yes you can have your license suspended for wreckless drivign which can be caused among other things by you speaking on your cell phone and not paying attention or your wife applying her makeup etc.

And just to quote you "Grow up."
