The campus police chief should have sought advice of counsel before proceeding with such a questionable action. A costly mistake.

Conservative alumni, quit donating to "American" Univ. - and tell the beg-a-thon callers why!

Wetmore, the administrator of www.benladner.com, has been critical of the administration on his Web site since it was established.

Disregarding the incident and the rest of the article, people who freely choose to attend a University, and then bitch about things, somewhat baffle me. They are generally just attention hounds.

Tipsy is stealing Hitlery's tricks. Hitlery was in our area before the 2000 election and gave a speech at the local senior center. They wanted someone to take pictures with the center's camcorder and my son volunteered.

He arrived there very early that morning to acquaint himself with their camera, and was told by Hitlery's secret service guys that he COULDN'T attend the speech because he was not a senior citizen.

The center is paid for by TAXES and, as such, is subject to access by any taxpayer. In my opinion, Hitlery just didn't want anyone to hear the lies she was telling to our older people.

She also answered ONLY pre-approved questions from the audience every time she gave a speech here.

It's time somebody like the student mentioned in the article called them on their secretive actions.

They were trying to get compliance for an order they were given."

"I VAS ONLY FOLLOWING ORDERS" sounds vaguely familiar. Maybe I read that somewhere in my history book.

there would be student riots every time Cheney went near a college if this was a conservative. when libs beat the hell out of a student exercising their rights at a public event, to enforce some bogus contract, then it's all right, because conservatives aren't allowed to have a real opinion, at least not one they can share with others.

a lot of this seems to be related to the wave of political correctness which puts artificial distinctions and rights afforded to liberals and conservatives.

any conservative would be torn to shreds in the media for enforcing this contract, but libs are given a free pass.

Next time he ought to use one of those little spy-cams, the annoying pop-up window kind.
