Hmmm... where to begin... He has performed and supported "Welfare Rights", for the Kensington Welfare Rights Union, he has the undying affection of the 'Green Left' who consider him one of their own, he often quotes Che Guevara, "I like real old-school, IWW-style union politics", "I'm to the left of Mao", in response to who he would vote for in 2000: "My politics are just slightly to the left of anybody who's running"... Need I go on?

Need I go on? NOPE!
I know he was always fighting the MAinstrean country people. He just never seemed to fit in.
The death penalty stuff I could live with, but Welfare and "Left of anyone running" bothers me.
He's said a lot of stuff to get people going, but what has he actually done in the polical arena besides welfare and death penalty issues?
Sorry, I am still holiding out some hope for him.
