Theres' just something odd about the whole case, when they give news conferences they always talk to her like she is out there listening.

No, what was said on the other threads was that polygamists grow their own wives. It is very common for men to marry young daughters of their uncle or cousins. It is extremely rare for anyone outside of a polygamist clan to marry into one (for women.) Some men, OTOH, cotton to polygamy quite readily, even though they weren't raised inside of polygamy.

And at the risk of sounding like a broken record, any member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons), who is found to be in polygamy, is immediately excommunicated. No ifs, ands or buts, we're even asked in our ecclestiastical interviews if we have any sympathy towards any polygamy groups.

Almost all polygamists in Utah stay within their own clans, they do not want to call attention to their lifestyle. To kidnap a girl such as Elizabeth Smart would just bring the law and the media down on them.

It's been that way from the beginning. Someone in this family knows something.. I believe Ricci is innocent of the kidnapping..There's something the family doesn't want the embarrassment of. Is this why they hired a PR firm instead of a private detective?
