That was a witch-hunt from the get-go and the real perps were recognized as the zealot social workers and their poli-hacks in the prosecutors offices until exposed.

Recognizable as apples & oranges after the fact (of the revelations of the Wenatchee case). Not before, which is my point. Had the guards somehow recognized that a witchhunt was in progress they might not have allowed Roberson to be beaten up. But to them he was just another scum accused child molester so they allowed an arbitrary punishment to precede the trial -- and an unlawful punishment was imposed on an innocent man.

The lynch mob is so much more satisying emotionally... but it's still nothing more than pure unadulterated and unrestrained democracy: it's a mob.

Here's a happy story for you FReepers. All names and locations have been changed to protect the innocent.

I used to have a friend who had done some serious time in several jails. He was a bit of an idiot when he was younger, stole some cars and such, but eventually turned out to be a decent, hardworking guy.

He told me about one particular prison he was in and a guy named "Ox". "Ox" was a great big 7 ft. tall white supremacist who knew half-a-dozen different martial arts. He was in jail for killing several people and was an LWOP, life without parole. "Ox", it turned out, made a good scumbag disposal unit. Whenever a particularly heinous criminal (child killer, child rapist, use your imagination) would come to this jail, the guards would arrange for "Ox" and said scroat to have a special, private shower, which ended with "Ox" killing the scroat with his bare hands and/or teeth.

Afterwards, "Ox" would go to solitary for a day or a week or whatever, and cigarettes would mysteriously appear in his possession when he got out.

I have no idea if it's true or not, but I hope so.

You heard correctly, if the other inmates find out about it. That is why many of them have to pc up.

Probably not true. Every prisoner who dies in prison is heavily scrutinized (unless he is a Democrat fall-guy). Wardens will do everything in their power to get dying prisoners out of the prison before they die so they don't have to splain how a cancer victims "suddenly" died in prison.

So many criminals got started on the wrong foot in life because they were sexually abused when kids. And even those who weren't hate the pedophiles. It's nice to occasionally hear that justice is being done, officially or unofficially.

My guess is that he bragged about it. Prisoners usually give the benefit of the doubt when it comes to guilt because they are all innocent.

Or any other sexual crime, or any other crime at all?

It isn't quite hypocritical. Even criminal societies have some rules. Actually, quite a few rules and they are VERY strictly enforced among inmates.
Molesting and or killing children goes beyond the pale. They will not suffer to be around such a monster and will kill him.
If he dosen't PC up, which he will.

Nevertheless, here's hoping all the kites fly right and on some day when he is transfered here or there, "OPPS! Did your face just run into my fist?" "Here let me help you." (kick) "Oh no, now you've gone and mashed your face into my foot, you ain't too graceful are you?"
