OK. Exceptional kids are difficult for the educational/medical system. They can handle mediocre kids but they don't know what to do with either extreme. Our daughters died from a neurological disorder. That made some think they were retarded (and they weren't) while others were sure the girls could recover by eating solid food (when they could hardly swallow).
