You have been shooting such a short time and you're knocking on Expert Scores...

Well...not exactly.

I shot smallbore for four years in High School. I guess it is like riding a bike - the fundamentals are still there.

As for the scores, I actually shot a bit above expert level score in the 300 yd reduced match last week (475/500) although you would never know by my perfomance here.

Many thanks to C&B - you are responsible for re-igniting my rifle shooting.

Big OOPS! You're shooting Master scores. Sorry.
The funny thing is when someone changes disciplines and the people at the match say, "Where did that guy come from?"

I'm still very erratic. I have done this ever since I've started. I wrestled with the Garand that wouldn't shoot for years and the first time I shot my AR, I shot a master score. I thought it was easy. Then the front sight loosened up and I spent a couple of years trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. I set screwed the front sight and I'm was back shooting respectable scores. But lately, I'm throwing the matches away. I'll shoot an 80 in the standing or I'll shoot to the right in the sitting. One stage will be miserable.

I have to work on my attitude. I've been running around trying this and that and I have to start working at it again. I guess they don't call it a discipline for nothing.
