I still havent got a leather sling with punched holes, so I'm using the stock web sling in the "hasty sling" manner. I've got the modified Garand en bloc mags for single shot and the 2/5 round mag for the rapid fire legs of the NM course. It probebly shows my inexperience, but I used the 2 and 8 round mags for this match, cause I dont like having to untangle my self from the sling to reload each shot (note to self: slow down).
I missed my spotting scope more than my shooting jacket ('cause it was 98 degrees with 90% humidity !)
Maybe we should have a Garand Match. We could start talking about it know and for those who don't have one, they could get involved in the CMP.
