And don't forget to attend "50th AirVenture Oshkosh * 2002", July 23-29, where the EAA and Warbirds Associations put on a great air show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Thanks AP for the ping. I live right under one of the flight paths for Moffett and usually get a pretty good show from the yard, but there is nothing like being at the marsh end of the runway when those jets fly over slightly sub-sonic.

I did that one year by riding my bicycle around the salt-marsh trails. A group of us were enjoying the show from a mound off the end of the runway, and off of Moffett property when over a pa system we were told that we were in the designated crash zone and that the show would not continue unless we moved. I chose life....and a different vantage point.
