The problem is .... some try to say that we believe in the same God.... Yet how can that be, the God of Christianity and Judaism is the same loving God that preaches compassion. The god of Islam preaches hate and intolerance.

Maybe because they supposedly "descend" from Ishmael, the bastard son of Abraham who was born against God's will and whom God allowed to be expelled into the desert when Isaac came along?
