Jesus 'gay'... Stupid statement made by people who hate God's word, hate Jesus, and want the "church" to revolve around and endorse their sick ways of life.
We could also state over and over that Jesus was an adulterer in order to try to normalize adultery as the prefered way of life.

You know, Jesus taught it was wrong to even 'look' at another person with lust in your heart. Hard to reconcile that with the average homosexual male, who, according to the CDC, has about 300-1000 lifetime sexual partners (most anonymous).

Being a San Francisco native and resident, I have heard all of these scurrilous and flimsy contortions of scripture explaining away the complete lack of divinely-sanctioned homosexuality before -- with the exception of the accusation that Ruth and Naomi were lovers...absolutely incredible.
I presume that in the translation that the MCC uses, Romans 1:26-28 is either blotted out in black marker as if classified by the FBI or just missing.

This "church" is an example of two agendas: one is the plan to defang religion, to remove it from the realm of the absolute and make it simply a reflection of humanity, rather than the word of God. Otherworldliness is a sworn enemy of socialism.
The other agenda is the neutering of religion's constraining effect. If people insist on devotion to some sense of spirituality, the socialists will at least remove from that devotion any obligation, any notion of sacrifice. It falls under the heading of defining deviancy down. You get to claim to be a Christian, but you needn't obey any of Christianity's laws. Isn't that convenient??!
This is simply a band of moral cowards masquerading under the label "Christian."
