You know, seriously...I have to wonder whether an actual invasion is in the cards. The only way I can see it happening is with Iraqi opposition forces overthrowing the existing regime with help from the US.
But this is problematic, isn't it? Because part of the local opposition are shi'ites....who are more fundamentalist than the ruling sunni branch.
Someday, is-slime needs to be defused but doing it isn't going to be easy.
