Yep, it leads to the only two options that the terrorists can come to.
-He's dead and that proves he wasn't as all-powerful as they were led to believe. Especially given the short amount of time it took to off him.

-He's alive, and by the simple fact he refuses to show his face, he proves himself to be a hideous, craven coward. Hardly someone to look up to.
There was a news report a few months ago from a Pakistani town that items with OBL's likeness on them, previously very popular and expenisve, couldn't be given away anymore.
Even if he is alive and eventually shows his face, he's damaged beyond repair.
There's an indoor pistol range a few miles from my house that's doing a booming business in one particular item with OBL's likeness on it...
