If you have the time - check this out - and let me know your comments. I learned some things I did not know and was reinforced in facts and exhortations that I did know.

Basically - we 21st century Christians are wimps compared to those who went before us. Anyway - I enjoyed the history lessons and some of the exhortations. A nice break from the out of control tirades of this week from the loony left. Putting things in historical perspectives, and then in the eternal perspective, does help sometimes in dealing with the anger we feel from the lies we hear and the destruction we see around us of the founding Christian ideals of this nation...and of Western Civilization.

Anyway - enjoy is you will.....if you have the time! :-)

To know that history from God's perspective is to be encouraged and to be fearful toward this God. To not know that history from a providential perspective is to have it perverted and so you have a perverted view of God. We have a “happy, happy, happy” view of God in many churches today, which says that God is just so loving and kind, and whatever happens, He will just help you get along, so don't worry about it.
