Mit DNA is also from blood. What is your point about the nuclear DNA..where one half of the nuclear DNA is inherited from the mother and the other half from the father?
I don't recall the blood being compared to Damon? Do you?

I believe when trying to ID soldiers body from Nam etc. they looked only at the DNA of the maternal side of the family. May not remember correctly.
