I agree entirely. We shouldn't let Saudis/Iranians/etc in unless they are professed enemies of the State/radical Islam, IMO. Know a couple folks like that myself, best damn Americans you ever met.
This is no excuse no to let in as many Chinese,Vietmanese, Nicaraguans, etc in as possible.
The problem is that Socialism is incompatable with the immigration policies that made this country great and both major parties are Socialist.
Hello, we can't continue to receive such high numbers of immigrants in such a short time. We can't take in the whole world. Don't you see the flaw in your comment?
Secondly, I doubt that you would want America becoming some resemblence of the United Nations, because that is what is going to happen if widescale, unchecked immigration is going to lead us. Down the path of multiculturalism, bickering, group politics, more socialism, loss of freedoms, more taxes, etc.
Like I said, I would like immigration reduced to 75,000 per year. This, of course, after a ten, possibly twenty, year immigration moratorium. Furthermore, I think that for the best interests of the country that we should admit at least an 80% majority of immigrants from the western world. (Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Japan)
