Cheeney isn't real happy with this little ditty ---
Andersen video ----- from the bbc -----http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/world/americas/newsid_2119000/2119981.stm
Our correspondent says that, almost as embarrassing for Mr Cheney is a promotional videotape he made praising the now disgraced accounting firm Andersen.
The video, which fell into the hands of the Wall Street Journal, was made in 1996 when Mr Cheney was at Halliburton and showed his personal relationship with Andersen.
In it, he describes how Andersen gave advice "over and above" what would normally be expected from auditors.
In a short section of the video, Mr Cheney says: "I get good advice, if you will, from their people, based upon how we are doing business and how we are operating, over and above the normal, by-the-books auditing arrangement."

Will Ann Coulter disavow Larry Klayman and Judicial Watch? Several months ago, she was on the JW radio show saying that she was about to join JW.
JW has such a phenominal cash flow that it can offer big names like Coulter huge dollars just for saying that they are "associated" with JW. Witness David Schippers. They never have to do a damn thing (and of course, Klayman would never allow them to do anything of substance). All that is requested or allowed is that they let their names be thrown out as having some connection with JW. It doesn't mean that they ever did a darn thing for JW, but JW just gets to "Rent-a-Name."
You need to get Ann to disassociate herself from JW. Ask her if she agrees that JW's suit against Dick Cheney will lead to impeachment charges.

I'd bet Larry got enough NO votes for his "poll" to look honest--but not honest enough, huh?

If Ann does not disassociate herself from this, I will be very surprised-- and totally, irretrievably disappointed.

Please see post #941 :-)

I think I recognize that particular spelling problem, do you?
Remarkable coincidence, isn't it?

Yes and AA was the premier accounting film in the nation. It was the gold standard. So what? Now, could you please point out exactly what Cheney and Halliburton did that you consider illegal?
To: RedBloodedAmerican
"Funny, since they are friends."I highly doubt that is true. If so, please source it for all of us. You are probably just spreading unfounded rumors anyway.
To: Texasforever
"could you please point out exactly what Cheney and Halliburton did that you consider illegal?"
After you point out what AA did for ENRON that was illegal.
To: Texasforever
"Yes and AA was the premier accounting film in the nation. It was the gold standard. So what?"
That's one of the most ridiculous efforts at defense that's been on here yet. Isn't that also true for Enron's/Lay's case as well? Or did they turn their Trick Machine off when they worked with Halliburton and Cheney?
To: rdavis84
Yep... kinda late with that little ditty aren't you. Bet it wouldn't hold water in a court room. So far you haven't shown he knew anything about the standards.... Now the financial officer may know a lot more.

Ann Coulter will not disassociate herself with Judicial Watch and Larry Klayman. You know why? Because they are both made of integrity.
Ann Coulter is not a Bush Republican and that should be obvious. She is quite simply, more right-wing and more conservative. In otherwords, she is made of the right stuff.

Look, I don't really care if you guys talk about me, and I no longer care what you guys say about me either. But please ping me when you do, okay?

You rang?

Gee, I think Dick Cheney, a straight-arrow and pro-life, is more conservative than a lot of people. How come he doesn't get a break?
By the way, do you think Cheney is the defacto president? Do you think he is in effect, running the country?
AND DO YOU THINK HE SHOULD BE IMPEACHED???
