12:57PM Halliburton responds to Judicial Watch lawsuit (HAL) by Michael Baron Halliburton (HAL) is off 30 cents, or 2.1 percent, to $13.82, in midday action. The company is out with a press release responding to a lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch, a Washington, D.C.-based legal watchdog group. The suit alleges fraudulent accounting practices at Halliburton took place during the period when current vice president Dick Cheney served as its chairman and CEO. Halliburton called the claims in the suit, "untrue, unsupported, and unfounded." The company continued: "We are working diligently with the SEC to resolve its questions regarding the company's accounting procedures. Halliburton has always followed and will continue to follow guidelines established by the SEC and GAAP, General Accepted Accounting Principles."

I am not going to answer that question, and it is none of your business on a public forum who I am friends with!
To: Registered
Down boy. :) I never said you said that. :)I'd just never heard anyone go "off" on the Masons before, and wondered about why you felt the way you do.
To: Amelia
It wouldn't surprise me.

If you really are Mr. Empirical, that information shouldn't really be important anyway.
To: Letitring
A lot of Bible-believing Christians out there do not care for Masonic organizations or trust them, for that matter.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
Really? Hummmmm, interesting.
To: Letitring
That is true. I have been in Evangelical Christian schools my entire life and the subject of Freemasonry was often discussed by the students and teachers. It was never reflected upon or discussed in a positive light or as an organization that Christians were to join.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
Just attempting to confirm your freep mails......
To: deport
I only sent that one because you kept pestering me about it and it wasn't a subject that was supposed to be discussed on a public forum.
I was also very vague on purpose, mainly because I understand that my personal life is none of your business.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
For me, that is so odd. My Father was a Mason and a Shriner. (he never drove one of those funny cars in parades, etc.)He was a good soul, and a Christian. My Grandfathers were Masons, their Fathers before them, etc. To the best of my knowledge, they never sacrificed children, ate them, wore robes or anything else that smacked of the devil or evil. They were community leaders, hard workers, decent men. Their friends were cut from the same cloth. I never knew any of these folks to do anything but try to help people. As a Shriner, my Father raised alot of money for their burn center. They worked to set up scholarships, paid hospital bills, etc., the list is endless. I'm not trying to change your mind or argue with you. It's just my life experience with Masons is worlds away from some of these statements I've read here.
To: Letitring
I respect my opinion, but please understand that I have mine. I am well aware that Masons give out scholarships. One of my friends in high school recieved one and then returned it to the organization after he read their doctrine.
To: Letitring
I meant, "your opinion" in the post above.
To: Letitring
It's just my life experience with Masons is worlds away from some of these statements I've read here. Your experience has been my experience with Masons as well.
To: Amelia
Based on what I've seen in life, I expect we are the rule and not the exception. :) Just good, decent, law abiding, hard working men, describes every Mason I've ever known. Okay, I'm gone. Lunch calls. :)
To: FreedominJesusChrist
Sure. No problem. I'm glad your friend lived his convictions and returned the scholarship so someone else could use it. I've got to leave now. Hope your day is lovely. See ya.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
Thanks for the confirmation.......

Yes, I did sneak into a Masonic Temple last Summer. I'll never forget it either. There is alot of occultic symbolism attached to it temple. Most of it is Satanic.
To: nopardons
I'm sure they do but the occultic symbolism that is engraved within the temple itself will be left as a "mystery" as that is how those in the High Priesthoods of the temple want it to be. Even the Tour guides have no true intrinsic understanding of what those symbols mean.
To: nopardons
Well yes, maybe her too. What does she understand about our Constitution and the right to keep and bears arms? She's too wrapped up in Democratic fund raising and "doing good for society" that the idea of the "individual" right is just a lame "idea" that needs to be replaced with that of the collective pov.
