Nah, it's gotta be the Joos..
Or the build-a-burgers..
One or the other.. But whoever winds up running the world, I hope they fix that huge pothole in front of the house..
To: Jhoffa_
Uh are we friends again? The last time you mentioned me (last night) I was a hopeless "bush-bot".
To: Texasforever
You are a hopeless Bush Bot..
But I hope to teach you the errors of your ways..
:)
To: agrandis
It's the whole " fraternal " thing; which is now dying out. Men joined to do good works ( not unlike The Junior League ladies ) , and for the fellowship / companionship of nice, good men. Thgere isn't anything sinister nor silly about the Masons; no matter what some idiots might attempt to claim about them. :-)
If you are ever in N.Y.C., you can ask for a tour and to see the museum , where the bible, that George Washington took his oath of office on. I've taken the tour and it's fascinating.
To: nopardons
Well, if you don't call being buried in a leather half skirt "silly"

The last time you mentioned me (last night) I was a hopeless "bush-bot".And a fine "bush-bot" you are, Texasforever.

The reason that the Catholic church is against the Mason ( and NO, the Masons are
NOT anti-Catholic nor anti-Christian ! ) , is a long and involved story. The short of it is, that it was about MONEY and keeping parishoners under the thumb of the church ; they didn't ( still don't ) like the fact that ANYONE can be a Mason, as long as he believes in GOD.
I have no idea why the Lutherans are against the Masons. If you are a Lutheran, and have been told this " evil " crap, in church, then all I can say, is that you are being lied to, dear.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
I'm glad that you like it ; however, you certainly aren't gewtting much out of that college. It doesn't matter, at all, that your profs " like " you. It matters what you are being taught; which is obviously, damned little, that is factual / accurate.
To: nopardons
I'm catholic and to be honest I don't recall ever hearing stories of those evil mason's .. LOL
My hubby has a friend who dad is a mason .. he doesn't seem evil either

Masons are NOT buried in a " leather half skirt " ! Who told uyou such utter codswallop ? Have you ever been to a Masonic funeral ? I HAVE !
To: nopardons
Whatever..
That cutsie little apron thing..
(I bet the bikers would like that.. )
To: Mo1
I don't think that thr RC Church preaches about it so much anymore. :-)
Thanks ... Masons are NOT " evil " at all .
To: Jhoffa_
WRONG again ! They are NOT b uried in their aprons ! I have my grandfather's and am donating them, and other memorabilia, to the Mason Museum; the same one that has the bible, that George Washing took his oath of office on... so there ! :P~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
To: DaughterOfAnIwoJimaVet
I was just yanking Jhoffa's chain. We have a lot more in common than either of us will admit to.
To: nopardons
Those self absorbed scumbags actually approached my grandmother and asked her to have my grandpa buried in that ridiculous thing.. and they were pissed that she didn't allow it..
(personally, I think they all just wanted to see him in a leather skirt.. )
To: Jhoffa_
I'm afraid to ask - but which half? Does it depend on the room temperature Mason's endowment?
To: DaughterOfAnIwoJimaVet
We do, he's currently stalking me..
To: Senator Pardek
Well, that and the disposition of the masons in question..
To: Jhoffa_
Either yo're lying, or those were some rather strange Masons. LOL
To: nopardons
No, honestly.. on the level..
They pestered my grandma to have him buried in his apron..
He was pretty high up, I have no idea what degree but he was a senior mason and they hounded her about it.
You know, she just suffered a huge loss. She was devistated and mentally questionable anyway.. That seemed cruel to a degree I can't imagine.
(and I imagine allot.. )
