12:57PM Halliburton responds to Judicial Watch lawsuit (HAL) by Michael Baron Halliburton (HAL) is off 30 cents, or 2.1 percent, to $13.82, in midday action. The company is out with a press release responding to a lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch, a Washington, D.C.-based legal watchdog group. The suit alleges fraudulent accounting practices at Halliburton took place during the period when current vice president Dick Cheney served as its chairman and CEO. Halliburton called the claims in the suit, "untrue, unsupported, and unfounded." The company continued: "We are working diligently with the SEC to resolve its questions regarding the company's accounting procedures. Halliburton has always followed and will continue to follow guidelines established by the SEC and GAAP, General Accepted Accounting Principles."

Larry just keeps digging that hole deeper and deeper, doesn't he?
We should haven known there'd be another press release; after all, Larry hasn't been on TV since Sunday and according to what I've read here tonight, nobody's talking about him anymore.
Hell, the people on this thread have refuted every single word in that press release.
To: terilyn
At what point does he get disbarred after filing so many bogus lawsuits?
Can someone have standing from reading the New York Times?

To: FreedominJesusChrist

I am not going to answer that ridiculous question.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
We're you just back up the thread talking about the grammar people used in their posts?
To: Howlin
Isn't it up to THEM to do the research? YEP .. or have a serious talk with their broker

It doesn't take long to do. I rather spend some time on that than leave my hair looking like a wavy rat's nest.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
Can you explain something to me please?
Why does Larry put out press releases and refer to himself and his company in the third person?
He puts out these releases to make it look like it's breaking news from the AP, yet they're written about him and JW, by him and JW.
It looks so phoney, so hyped, so...well, just weird, creepy even.
It's like listening to a professional athlete talk about himself using his own name. Only the most conceited, arrogant, full of themself athetes do it. Most don't.
We have a governor that does it. "Jesse Ventura doesn't have to answer questions to the media". "Jesse Ventura's been around the block and don't you forget it".
It's just creepy.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
YOu think it's ridiculous to ask how Larry can have evidence before he's gone through discovery?
You need to take up a hobby; you're embarassing yourself on these threads. You do NOT know what you are talking about.
To: Howlin
Hell, the people on this thread have refuted every single word in that press release. Before it was written, even.
Damn, we're good!
To: FreedominJesusChrist
I will continue to read them and I can't wait to read the press release about The Nut Job going down
That IDIOT can spin things better the Clinton

Well, I am glad that the "big hair" days are behind you ladies. I have permanent damage to both eyes and lung damage from being poked it the eye with two foot high beehives made hurricane proof by Auqanet and that suffocating smell.

Can someone have standing from reading the New York Times? Especially from an article that the NYT has practially retracted!

He needs to get a new lawyer
