12:57PM Halliburton responds to Judicial Watch lawsuit (HAL) by Michael Baron Halliburton (HAL) is off 30 cents, or 2.1 percent, to $13.82, in midday action. The company is out with a press release responding to a lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch, a Washington, D.C.-based legal watchdog group. The suit alleges fraudulent accounting practices at Halliburton took place during the period when current vice president Dick Cheney served as its chairman and CEO. Halliburton called the claims in the suit, "untrue, unsupported, and unfounded." The company continued: "We are working diligently with the SEC to resolve its questions regarding the company's accounting procedures. Halliburton has always followed and will continue to follow guidelines established by the SEC and GAAP, General Accepted Accounting Principles."

Maybe not, but it seems like such a waste of a perfect good sweater.

Last week on that creepy Aaron Brown Show,
LMAO !!! So True!!!

"The president said that the vice president is immune from the law."
Outrageous. I fondly hope to see Larry Klayman brought very low very soon. I do believe you when you say that Larry will sue Bush. Then people who haven't noticed will realize what Larry really is-- a little man in quest of an identity.
To: Howlin
Of course, Larry will sue Bush. It is his heart's desire that he be positioned in the role of interrogator of George Bush, who he knows is his intellectual inferior. It really does not matter what the subject matter is. All that matters is that he -- LARRY KLAYMAN -- degrade and publicly humiliate George Bush.
Of course, the truth of the matter is that in any duel of wits between Bush and Klayman, Bush will win. Klayman has totally failed to grasp that, while he may have the higher IQ, Bush has other intelligence factors which will always cause him to prevail in any head to head confrontation with Klayman. Especially if the "judge" is a jury or any other segment of the population. Bush will always prevail amongst them because he is so authentic and likeable and Klayman is such a fraud and so inherently offensive. Even his own mother doesn't like him.

It was the most...*interesting*....sweater I've seen in some time.

[Klayman:] "The president said that the vice president is immune from the law." Now I see where some of his followers get their habit of pulling pronouncements out of thin air.
To: Howlin
Who is our best graphics person? I want a picture of Klayman with the caption "a face even a mother couldn't love."
To: Howlin
Is your quote from a transcript or is it your remembrance? Sure he will sue as that's his job don'tcha see.... He makes a living suing just like the ambulance chasers or plaintiff trail lawyers. He's no different, just sues a different group of people.

Even the 'eWW' .. Let the Audits begin
To: Deb
I saw it: he said that Cheney was the defacto president and runs the country on a day to day basis.
He has written a check with his mouth that his "firm" cannot cash, IMO. I'm really going to enjoy watching them smash him.
He best have his financial papers in order.
To: Amelia
Nope, it won't work..but Larry doing a PBS show on jurisprudence just maybe a ratings winner. He could use nice charts and a big pointer, and as long as he kept the sheen of sweat off his upper lip, I'm sure all the Dems in Cambridge and Bezerkley would treat his stuff like he was another Joseph Campbell ;-)
Larry followed his bliss...over a cliff...
To: cmsgop
What IS it with that guy? He puts me to sleep!
To: Iwo Jima
Klayman is such a fraud and so inherently offensive. Even his own mother doesn't like him. Great line.
How are things at the home tonite? Did everyone finally calm down, or are they still outraged over your great injustice?
To: deport
My quote is from a Post-It note that I wrote it down on as he said it.......LOL.
To: Iwo Jima
Even his own mother doesn't like him.
It's a shame to lose contact with your mother and not to be able to even have a conversation with her on Mother's day..... All for just a few thousand dollars..... The dollar rules with the 'eww' apparently.

To: habs4ever
as long as he kept the sheen of sweat off his upper lipMight be a good reason for him to grow a moustache...wonder what he'd look like with a moustache?
To: Howlin
ALL of the best reporters use Post-it Notes!
We should be paying you.
To: Amelia
Nice of you to ask. Things have quieted down. The nightly medications came just in time. We were just about to have a real rumble, let me tell you. But today we have channeled our energies into more constructive avenues. I gave a seminar on "101 Ways to Vote Republican (Per Person)". We passed a resolution declaring Larry Klayman to be the most dangerous man in America. And then we had our Ovaltine break.
Life is good.
To: Howlin
I believe he is from up here in Seattle. KING TV. He was never a anchor either if memory serves. I was kinda shocked that he got that Cushy CNN Gig.
To: Iwo Jima
Are you in Wisconsin? And is smoking allowed in the home, or are oxygen tanks a danger? You could get free cigs for voting I bet. (but you'd probably have to vote for a Dem to get free cigs)
To: Amelia
Oh, and one other thing. Lean closer so that I can whisper in your ear. We had a "Depends" rep here today. Thinking back on what I had read about a certain Freeper wearing thong underwear, I asked if Depends made any thong products, and it seems that they do! I can't quite describe it, but I just bet that some enterprising Freeper can give us an artist's rendition of what a Depends thong would look like.
