12:57PM Halliburton responds to Judicial Watch lawsuit (HAL) by Michael Baron Halliburton (HAL) is off 30 cents, or 2.1 percent, to $13.82, in midday action. The company is out with a press release responding to a lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch, a Washington, D.C.-based legal watchdog group. The suit alleges fraudulent accounting practices at Halliburton took place during the period when current vice president Dick Cheney served as its chairman and CEO. Halliburton called the claims in the suit, "untrue, unsupported, and unfounded." The company continued: "We are working diligently with the SEC to resolve its questions regarding the company's accounting procedures. Halliburton has always followed and will continue to follow guidelines established by the SEC and GAAP, General Accepted Accounting Principles."

Someone very ethical, I am sure...
To: TLBSHOW
lol
To: Amelia
Seems that way to me. Nothing would stick to G.W., so it was time to coordinate an attack on Cheney.

That does not mean that someone may not be impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors committed before their current public office. There is just as much chance that they will NOT be impeached for actions that occur before they took office, so your point is moot.
In fact, during times when impeachment WAS considered for previsou so-called "crimes," they committees decided they could NOT use those as evidence for impeachment, as I already referenced concerning Richard Nixon.
To: terilyn
I am outraged that you believe that Klayman's supporters votes should count for more than those who disagree with him. Ah, what? Explain, please.
To: Howlin
Well, it starts about post #1442, where Becky declares that the poll isn't right because, "people like you" vote. Implying that we had FReeped the poll. We shouldn't get to participate because we skewed the poll or something. As if internet polls are scientific anyways. Oh and told Amelia that 1900 people went over from this thread and voted in the last hour or so the poll was open LOL!
Then when faced with the fact that the poll only lets you vote once and wouldn't even let the no voters view the results later without warning us that we had already "casted" our votes, she claimed she had no such problem. So apparantly if you voted yes, you could keep going back in and voting/viewing.
Then, if you check out #1441, it seems Larry put out a press release stating that something like 83% wanted the papers disclosed when clearly only 42% did. Amelia captured the poll from last night and posted it after the poll closed.
FIJC implied that Larry had probably put out the press release prior to the poll closing...ala Florida vote casting er counting, Gore won!...oh darn, no he didn't, well we didn't mean to announce the winner before everybody voted...
You'll have to read it. I was wondering where you were :)
To: Howlin
which post did she smear Ann Coulter in?
To: Miss Marple
and also the reference to Nazi armbands did not go unnoticed. Don't get all worked up about that. I'm sure the Keyesters and the Patsies still have a lot of armbands left over when they were issuing them to themselves to show that they were the "real conservatives" and "true conservatives," remember? They can just print BushBot right over them.
To: FreedominJesusChrist
Well, I voted for him in 2000 and regret my vote to a certain extentIs "to a certain extent" shorthand that you use when you don't won't to voice your true opinion, becasue those are the exact words you used yesterday when you refused to answer whether or not you you agreed with Klayman about Cheney being the defacto president?
To: FreedominJesusChrist
By posting the link to this poll on FR, this was a calculated move to sway the results of a random poll. Of course, you realize, do you not, that by NOT linking this poll to FR only DIEHARD JW supporters would go there, so that poll wouldn't have had ANY truth to it at all? If you don't publicize your poll, you are FIXING it and it's a lie.
To: FreedominJesusChrist; ProudAmerican2
Well, because this poll was posted on FR and linked, this was a malicious attempt to sway the results of this poll. And would you admit that it was a malicious attempt to sway the results if ONLY people who go to the JW web site got to vote?
To: Howlin
Larry's got the market cornered on the whole lie thing.
See post #1441...like I said, press release, fake numbers...and most importantly, proof of the lie.
I sent it to Brit & every other host on Fox News that I could think of.
To: Amelia
"Second, do you REALLY think that OVER 1500 PEOPLE read this thread and scooted over there late last night just to make this poll look bad???" Yes.
Good lord, I never realized you had so much power, girl friend.
To: terilyn
Well, you all have completely left aside the part where LK took a perfectly valid poll on Lou Dobbs' site, where people like you and I would have said, yes, Cheney should answer questions, and proudly proclaimed that the people who voted on CNN voted to APPROVE his lawsuit.........ROFLMAO.
To: TLBSHOW
She said Ann suuports Klayman and his lawsuits. Probably going to work for him. I can't remember which post.
Do you think Ann Coulter agrees with Larry Klayman that Dick Cheney is the defacto president of the United States and just might have committed enough crimes to be impeached?
To: Howlin
CNN, maybe they should now change their name to KNN?
To: Howlin
Larry "Spin" Klayman.
Yes, that's what I'll call him from now on, Spin.
To: terilyn
The only difference in Larry Klayman and Mark Geragos is that Geragos doesn't put out these bogus press releases.
To: Howlin
That and the Matlock suit!
To: Howlin; deport
Good lord, I never realized you had so much power, girl friend. Well, you linked it about the same time I did. It's probably because we linked it TWICE on this thread. :)
I did notice in deport's posting of the two "results" charts, there were 4 YES votes in there....if all the votes were coming from here, I wonder who cast THOSE??
